A paper pieced block that finished 12" square - so there were some TINY pieces!
We all got to know our seam rippers so well this month!!
Here are the different versions
My Block |
Sandy's block , blogged about here
Lynda's
Becca's - blogged about here
Dee had added a little twist (and a short-cut that no one else thought of!!)
Blogged here
Jo's blogged here
And this month Angie had caught up with the back issues AND had completed her first Paper Pieced item!!
It is rumoured that Angie has "taken a year out" to get over this one !!!
Thank you to Charise Creates for letting us use her pattern. It was fun - really!
Septembers Challenge has been set by Dee
One inch strips made into (16) three and a half inch blocks
Log Cabin/Courthouse Steps.
Easy eh?
We shall see
I have started mine
I can't show you my colours till the end of the month
The group is open to all, so if you fancy joining us pop over and get stripping.
No pressure, you keep what you make, and you can dip in and out as you please.
I really love how you did your fabric drape with the two different coordinates! All the machines looks so cool lined up here. Funny how some of them have flickr info on them and some don't!
ReplyDeleteLove how your log cabin blocks are looking in black and white...can't wait to see the colors. I have several ideas drawn up....possibilities are way more than with a HST....and more stitching too!!:)
They are all great! After all the seam reaping I did, still ended up with one part turning the wrong way and only noticed it now! Oh well, I will live with it...
ReplyDeleteLove them all and am very tempted to have a go at this month's log cabin - Will I/Won't I?
