Ive found it!!!!

My rolling pin that is so you can all stop worrying about Health and Safety -  I've not finished anyone off - YET! 😜

I was given a basket full of lovely figs, so a couple of jars of scrummy fig jam was on the cards

 

We spent an hilarious evening with this funny man.  Some nostalgic music with the rock band that accompanied him. 

  

I have, at last,  got my sewing machine out and have prepped the fabric strips for the Jelly Roll Rug 

Just need to sew it ll together now !

I spent a lovely morning at Purlwise in Kimbolton, (where I go to a Sock Club)  where James McIntosh was talking about how Knitting saved his life after a serious mental breakdown.  Lovely man who can cook too!

Then CATASTROPHE!  the garage roof has leaked and that is where we are storing some stuff that has not yet been unpacked,  The box of photographs had two inches of water in it 💦🌊
A whole day spent drying my life out. 

but we do have carpets now 😌

In every square inch of space

But it was nice to reminisce as I put them all away again


Because I had gotten that machine out, I did manage to out the blocks together on this bright quilt 

 And I have even almost finished quilting it too

And because I have found that rolling pin I happily made this years batch of Mincemeat ready for the Festive season 

The kitchen smells WONDERFUL
