It's Been a Loooong Time....

since I posted anything on this little Blog.  This week, I have been made to feel a little guilty about not keeping up so

The past Three months as short as I can make it

A coupel of Visits to the local theater to hear talks by Neil Oliver ( The long haired guy from Coast
And another talk form the Lovely Simon Reeve  who made us laugh and cry

 Some Pumpkin Carving

A bit of competition here

A visit from the Poppy Man always requires a selfie for the children

Mr T and I were lucky to be selected to take part in the Peoples Thank You March in London on Sunday 11th November. A special event to mark the 100th Anniversary of the ending of the seond World War
Finding our spot in the Mall

the march begins

past the Cenotaph
This was a lovely, and poignant day, spent taking to many veterans of several conflicts

Christmas makes were begun

 Including gifts for stitching friends

And more Elves than anyone should have to make

HUNDREDS of these were baked during December

And a couple of dozen of these Mug rugs

And New Year was spent with my lovely family (minus the babies) at a friends Daughters wedding celebrations
they scrub up well
well into the evening 😉
A bit more babysitting down "sarf"  with a bitterly cold walk along the beach

But promises of Ice Cream must be kept

It really was freezing !!!!!
I am in charge of this little Miss a couple for days a week(which is lovely)
But she is proving to be just like her Mummy and can do anything she sets her mind too!!!
Miss Daredevil

It seems I am past the age of being in actual control 🙈

I have done quite a bit of knitting but most of it has been gifted. I've just started a new pair of socks and this yarn is so lovely to work with

Hopefully I will have more to show next time
